Zacualpan reaffirms their commitment with the Peace Flag and hoists a Monumental Flag
Delivering the Peace Flag pruduces always great excitement. But, when a whole town, as in the case of Zacualpan, accepts to reaffirm the commitment they accepted sixteen years ago, when the President of the International Committee, Phd. Alicia Rodríguez, delivered the Peace Flag to Roberto López, the Mayor at the time, as well as to all cultural institutions and to the Instituto para la Dignificación de la Familia (Institute for the Dignification of the Family), and still today they hoist a 28 meter monumental Flag in the Central Square of the town, then the excitement bursts into collective joy.
The monumental Flag proudly waves in the wind and it can be appreciated from all the geographical sites of the town, as a huge compensation to all negative events of our World. .
