The Banner of Peace

The Peace Flag is a Universal Symbol, representing the Unity of Diversity, with the purpose of achieving a better world and promoting respect for all convictions.

It was accepted unanimously by all the American countries on the 15-th of April, 1935, in the White House in Washington, DC, with the signing of the Roerich Peace Pact. The objective of the Pact is to preserve humanity’s cultural wealth.

In 1937, the Roerich Peach Pact was ratified by all countries comprising the League of Nations, the forerunner of the United Nations.
