One of the most important and beautiful museums in the world is the Hermitage Museum of Saint Petersburg, located in the Palace which was the winter's home of the Tsars.
With the solemnity that the enclosure means globally, Dr. Alicia Rodriguez, President of the International Committee for the Banner of Peace, United Nations NGO, was honored with one of the most important Russian medals:
The International Laureatis Roerich Medal, awarded by the Hermitage Museum, certified by the Director Mikhael Piotrovsky.
She also unanimously received the Roerich Medal awarded by the Roerich Museum in Saint Petersburg.
The Directors Alexey Bondarenko, Vladimir Melnikov, who could not resist a second time to publicly kneel before Dr. Rodriguez, as well as the representative of Director Mikhael Piotrovsky, presented in a video, the selfless work of the Dr. Rodriguez for 28 years, showing on television to over a hundred million people, the artistic and scientific heritage of the famous painter Nicholas Roerich and delivering the Banner of Peace, to more than 3,200 worthy institutions that have done a great work for peace.
For her part Dr. Rodriguez thanked, thrilled to receive the highest award in one of the most important Museums of the World: The Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, on behalf of the hundreds of contributors that she has had in various countries for 28 years.
