Alicia receiving the appointment of guest of honor of Bariloche
On October 20th, 2018; has been a historic day for San Carlos de Bariloche at Patagonia-Argentina.
Its mayor, Mr. Gustavo Gennuso; excited to tears, received from the hands of Dr. Rodríguez the Banner of Peace, as a commitment to achieve a Culture of Peace, in the region.
The emotion, reigned in the place and the most commited souls, will do everything the possible to be “living Banners of Peace” applying daily to their lives, the symbol of the Banner of Peace, being congruent with their thoughts, their words and their actions.
After the event, al the attendees went to the park of the beauftiful Cathedral, next to the lake, where the mayor and the president of the Committee rasied a monumental Banner of Peace, while a strong applasuse from enthusiastic attendees was heard.
Below the mast, a commemorative plaque it is placed and in the future it will be adorned with flowers and light for the night. Each time that mega flag waves, will remind to the inhabitants of Bariloche, their commitment with the Culture of Peace.
This Internation Committee, very warmly congratulate its Coordinator in Bariloche, Dr. María Esther Yrigoyen, for the great achievement obtained.
